It is hard to think of any keepsakes that mean more than portraits of our families and children through the years. It is also hard to think of anything that is harder to schedule than time for a family sitting! You might consider using any special occasion or costume as an opportunity to photograph children or families in a creative sitting that will produce results for generations of enjoyment.

This is not something that can be accomplished in thirty minutes or less at the end of an exhausting celebration, performance or flower girl/ring bearer duties at a wedding. Instead, call us and set aside an hour or so for a sitting that could include color as well as black/and white portraits, indoor and outdoor settings (weather permitting), and unlimited changes of clothing and props.

You can see I’m talking Maximum Planning by both photographer and parents (consider naps, best time of day, etc). I can promise you it will be a “happening,” with stories to tell every time you show the results! Of course, we’re happy to reschedule if weather or naptimes, etc. go awry. This is the name of the game when working with children and families.
